The Lion King Musical
Premiered for the very first time in July 1997, at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis, MN, the Lion King Musical went on to bag six Tony awards straight in 1998. Music and Sets
This memorable score includes the Oscar-winning composition of Elton John and Tim Rice – “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”. The Lion King Musical has received some dazzling reviews for its music. Set Designer Richard Hudson created the illusion of thousands of wild beasts, rushing straight at Simba – and at the audience – with the help of a canvas scroll and a number of large rollers. The effect on the audience is simply electrifying!
