Beauty & The Beast DVD [cant find them.]?
So my friend wanted these two beauty and the beast DVD’s for Christmas, but I can’t find them anywhere. ;l

I have checked target, walmart, & blockbuster. Does anyone know where I can get a new one? ;D th
Disney only sells their top movies for a year at a time before they place them in their “vault” (it has something to do with keeping the movies fresh for subsequent generations of kids). Beauty and the Beast was last released in 2002. DVD used to rerelease their top movies every 7 years when they were on VHS, then they switched the length of time to every 10 years when they first started putting them out on DVD (one of their top ten every year for ten years). That quickly changed when they decided to release 2 of their top movies each year. I don’t believe it has been officially determined how often they are going to rerelease each movie on DVD, but I found one website that said that Beauty and the Beast will most likely be rereleased again in 2009 or 2010:

Anyways, if you can’t wait that long to get it, your only choice until then is to spend quite a bit on Ebay or similar websites unless you are lucky enough to come across a cheap used copy at a garage sale or something.
