Smallville Season Six DVD Details Released
Smallville’s complete sixth season packaged into a sleek DVD is set to be released on September 16, 2007. Fans will be delighted to backtrack on the events of season six, including Clark and Lex’s conflict turned rivalry when Lex marries Clark’s true love, Lana and goes deeper into his plans of developing a race that is superior to the rest of humankind. Aside from the intensity between the major characters, season six also contains the roots of the Justice League and how Clark heavily considered his destiny as the world’s super hero.
The DVD includes Green Arrow, The History of the Emerald Archer, a short retrospective documentary on Oliver Queen or Green Arrow, the character who is closely linked to the new storyline in Smallville. The featurette narrates how the Green Arrow rose to popularity and gained respect as one of the world’s most recognized heroes in the industry. It includes interviews with individuals who were involved in the creation of this character way back in the 1940s.
Smallville: The Ultimate Fans is another documentary included in the DVD which focuses on Smallville’s most intense fan bases. A search was conducted through the Internet to find the Ultimate Smallville Fan, and this featurette follows the scouts at conventions and websites all around the world.
The Oliver Queen Chronicles is a collection of mobile episodes which first appeared exclusively on cell phones but can now be seen on the DVD. This collectible follows how Oliver Queen rediscovered himself as the Emerald Archer and is backed up by The Making of The Oliver Queen Chronicles which is a peek into the back end of the production of the mobisodes for Oliver Queen.
Lastly, the DVD also includes deleted scenes and Smallville Content Wraps–DC Comics’ animated series of the comic books of Smallville. Smallville’s 6th season DVD can be pre-ordered at the price of $38.99.
