The Macau Tower Skywalk-not for the Fainthearted
The Macau Tower is a tower in Macau, a Special Administrative Region of China (The People’s Republic of China) which previously was a Portuguese colony. The Macau Tower is also known as the Macau Sky Tower. The Macau Tower or the Macau Sky Tower as it is called measures a height of three hundred and thirty eight meters or 1, 109 feet. The height is measured from the tallest point on the Sky Tower to the ground. There also exists an observation platform on the Macau Sky Tower. The Observation platform offers visitors with a unique panoramic view, there are also shopping malls, restaurants, the Skywalk X and theaters. The Skywalk X is in fact an exciting and the same time breathtaking adrenaline filled tour, where visitors get to walk round the outer edge of the Macau Sky Tower.
The Macau Sky Tower is the tallest point in the world for Bungee jumping or skyjumping at present. The height is 233 meters and was performed by world famous jumper AJ Hackett. The Macau Sky Tower is part of the World Federation of Great Towers.
The Macau Tower Skywalk is definitely not for the faint hearted, it is an exhilarating experience to take a tour around this colossal tower. There are numerous entertainment activities also available within the tower for the visitor’s enjoyment.
